Consists of 100% Biodynamic (organic) almonds that have been blanched without the use of chemicals and ground into a flour consistency.  The Almonds used in this product are Australian Certified Organic.

FACTS: Blanched ground almonds are referred to as 'almond flour' and nuts ground with their skins on are conveyed as 'almond meal'.  Our experience tells us that blanched nut flours (skins removed) produce better results in GAPS recipes than nut flour (meal) that have been made with their skins on.  Removing the husks (blanching) also removes the enzyme inhibitors. Choosing organic allows you to reduce the toxic load.

Australia and the United Kingdom refer to Baking Soda as Bicarbonate of Soda  and the US refer to it as Baking soda, therefore Baking Soda is pure Sodium Bicarbonate (Bicarbonate of Soda).
