2012 Certified GAPS™ Practitioner Training Course

THE GAPS PRACTITIONER TRAINING COURSE IS NOW FULL AND THE ENROLMENT APPLICATION PROCESS IS CLOSED

Following the outstanding results of the course in the USA and Canada, we are very pleased to announce the release of the first Australian ‘Certified GAPS Practitioner Training Course’ taught by Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride, author of ‘Gut and Psychology Syndrome’.

Dr Natasha will go through examples from the most common to the most difficult clinical case studies.  A framework for a GAPS™ practice will be discussed, including how to run a local GAPS™ Group. The student group will work through various clinical scenarios which may be encountered in clinical practice and knowledge consistent with individual needs will be explored and evaluated to adequately address them.

On completion of the course you will become a ‘Certified GAPS Practitioner’ and will be listed on Dr Natasha’s resource site at www.gaps.me as well as receive referral patients from her.  In order to maintain knowledge of ongoing GAPS trends and clinical practice, ‘Certified GAPS Practitioners’ will be extended the opportunity to join the ‘GAPS™ Practitioner Forum’ moderated by Dr Natasha and her Admin Team (for Practitioners only).

Training Criteria

TC1 The training is offered only to qualified practitioners such as Medical Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Chiropractors, Nutritionists, Paramedics, Naturopaths, Homeopaths, Dieticians, Colonic Therapist and other suitable GAPS related health care professionals.

TC2 Must be actively and currently in practice at the time of enrolment.

Tuition

Tuition fee: $ 1175.00          Your tuition will include the following:

  • Two full course training days with lunch and refreshments
  • A business starter package containing manuals, workbooks, DVD’s, books and a USB flash drive with presentation material.

50% of the tuition is due at registration sign-up if your application has been approved and meets the set training criteria.  The remaining 50% is due on February 1st, 2012.

Be sure to register promptly if you are serious about attending this training course.  We expect the enrollments to fill up very quickly with the response we have received from practitioners so far with the recent news release. Transport Options

From Brisbane Airport to ‘The Grand Chancellor’ or other accommodation

Train to the Grand Chancellor Hotel

Catch the ‘City Train’ to Roma Street Station ($16.00 ticket)

Take a ten minute walk up the hill to the Grand Chancellor or catch a cab from the station.

Walking instructions from Roma Street Train Station to Chancellor

  1. Exit the station on the Garden Parklands side
  2. Walk across the taxi terminal and go up some escalators to your right
  3. Walk around the Parklands Building Headquarters and walk through the garden path N/E (as shown in the google map link below) until you reach Wickham Terrace.
  4. Walk up the hill on Wickham Terrace to the corner connecting to Leichhardt Street and the Grand Chancellor is located on the corner of Leichhardt and Wickham.

Taxi to the Grand Chancellor

Approximate Cost $50.00 one way and it will take 20 -30 minutes on a good day.

If you choose to take a taxi to the airport from your accommodation, please keep in mind that peak hour on this route can be extremely slow and it is possible that you will miss your flight.  It is a lot more reliable to take the train when keeping to a tight travel schedule.

Car parking for delegates attending the Practitioner Training or Conference

For guests staying overnight in the Grand Chancellor, valet parking is available at a daily charge.

For guests attending the function, parking is available in Kings Car Park located under the hotel – Kings Parking Charges will apply.
